Consumer (students) Protection
Ivy E & E Institute has been authorized for operation by the Private Business and Vocational Schools Division of the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE). This means that Ivy programs and instructors are approved by IBHE. The IBHE provides leadership, advocacy, and support for the work of post-secondary institutions (colleges) in Illinois.
Complaints and Grievance Policy
Ivy faculty, staff and administrators, hope that all Ivy students will find their time here both enjoyable and rewarding. However, we know that problems sometimes occur. If you have a specific incident to report, or wish to express a complaint regarding Ivy’s program, please contact Ivy’s main office to request a meeting with the academic director, the president (PDSO) or student advisor (DSO). It is recommend that any student or employee of Ivy should file a written complaint or grievance with the Ivy Office first, and then, if she/he is not satisfied with the first resolution, she/he may try to resolve the complaint elsewhere. The school shall maintain a written record of its handling of all student complaints.
This school shall resolve Ivy student complaints promptly and fairly and shall not subject a student to punitive action because of written grievances or complaints having been filed with the school or the Illinois State Board of Higher Education. All complaints must be made in writing.
COMPLAINTS AGAINST THIS SCHOOL MAY BE REGISTERED WITH THE ILLINOIS BOARD
OF HIGHER EDUCATION (IBHE).
